What we collect

Only what the appointment form asks for. Nothing is gathered in the background, and we do not buy or receive your details from anyone else.

Your name

So we know who to greet and who the vehicle belongs to.

Your WhatsApp number

This is how we confirm your appointment and send updates.

Optional. Only used if we cannot reach you on WhatsApp.

Vehicle registration, make, model and type

So we can prepare for the right vehicle and check our records for previous work.

Current mileage

Optional. Helps us judge which service is due.

The service you requested, your preferred date and time, and any notes

So we can schedule the work and understand the symptoms before you arrive.

What we use it for

To review your appointment request, confirm or reschedule it with you, carry out the work, keep you updated while your vehicle is with us, and keep a service history so future visits are better informed.

We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not sell or share them with third parties for their own purposes.

Where it goes

Appointment requests are sent from this website to SG Car Services' workshop management system, where our staff review them. A request stays pending until someone at the workshop confirms it.

The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes each request to deliver the page. Fonts load from Google Fonts. The workshop's Google rating and opening status are fetched by our server, not your browser, so Google is not given your details when you read the site.

What this site stores on your device

If you sign in to My Bookings, we set one cookie holding your sign-in session. It is marked httpOnly, so scripts on the page cannot read it, and it is removed when you sign out.

If you use “Book again”, your vehicle and contact details are held briefly in your browser's session storage so the booking form can be filled in for you. That is cleared when you close the tab.

The site also uses basic visitor analytics provided by our website host, Lovable. It records which pages are viewed and clicked, the page you arrived from and your browser type, and sets a session-id cookie that expires after 30 minutes. The data is sent to our own domain and used only to understand how the site is used. We use no advertising trackers.

How long we keep it

We keep appointment and service records while we have an ongoing relationship with you, and afterwards only as long as we need them for business, warranty or legal purposes. Requests that never become a visit are cleared out periodically.

Your choices

You can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that is wrong, or withdraw your consent to being contacted. If you withdraw consent we may not be able to continue with a booking or ongoing work.

Keeping it safe

Your details travel over an encrypted connection and are stored in our workshop system, which only SG Car Services staff can access.
